Morya Misal is a misal pav restaurant at Shivaji Chowk, Ramayan Nagar, Ulhasnagar. We cook the misal Maharashtra grew up on: spicy sprout usal, crunchy farsan, onion, lemon and a deep red rassa, with soft pav on the side - and we keep it honest, hygienic and affordable.

Misal is more than a dish

In Maharashtra, misal is breakfast, lunch, a rainy-evening craving and a reason to meet friends. Every city has its own style - the fiery Kolhapuri tambda-pandhra, the tangy Puneri bowl, the rustic gavran masala. At Morya Misal you can try them side by side and decide your favourite: special misal, gavran misal, puneri misal and kat misal, tambda pandhra and dahi misal.

What we stand for

How a bowl of Morya Misal comes together

We start with sprouted matki usal cooked in a home-style masala. It is topped with farsan for crunch, fresh onion and coriander, and finished with lemon. The kat (rassa) is served hot - pour as much as you like, or add extra rassa, extra pav or extra sev when you order online. Prefer it milder? Just add a note.

More than misal

Craving South Indian? Try our masala dosa and idli, medu vada and sambar. For a different mood, we also cook vegetarian Chinese - hakka noodles, fried rice and Manchurian.
